Marlon is Great in Stand-up!
I must first say that I was disappointed at having 7:30 show tickets and Marlon not coming on until 9:30. That even would have been ok if they'd have had opening acts to cover that time, but having a late opening start (8:15) and an intermission between the emcee's introduction (8:45 - 9:15) was unacceptable.
Now, with my grievances aired, let me begin. The wait was well worth it! Marlon did not disappoint. I was afraid that he was more of a movie/tv performer than a stand up comedian. Not so! He was very funny and entertaining. And just because there was a late start, he did not cut our show short. He gave us an hour and a half of non-stop laughter . Would I do it again - definitely! But I'd probably just show up a little late. :-) Love you Marlon.
Let me also say here that his niece (sorry I forgot her name), who emceed was exceptional. She made the wait a bit more bearable. Her jokes were fresh with a new perspective on things.
